Hello there!!!

By starting a new beauty website I thought about offering my potential customers a Free Product Samples with every purchase - you know, just to make them a little bit more happy about purchase and they would be interested to visit my web store again.

Therefore I have a question, WHERE and HOW is possible to get perfume, skin care product and other type of beauty product sample sachets, vials etch.
Could I get them for Free or I must buy them?

Does anyone has some suggestion or have an experience with that? ;)

Thanks!
Iveta

Hi Iveta,

Some suppliers provide free samples when you purchase, they set a minimum price order before giving this though, and an example is Link hidden: Login to view

And some offer these vials for sale - Link hidden: Login to view

It would be best to let the suppliers know and ask if they can help with what you need. :)

Hi Irene!

I was just wondering about those sellers, who sell on ebay lots of perfume sample sachets or vials ? Where do they get lots of boxes of product samples?

Even if I compare pricing, then it would be cheaper for me to buy such samples for my customers from ebay seller?

What are your thoughts about that? :)

Thanks again!
Iveta

Hi Iveta,

My best guess is that these are wholesale suppliers selling to the public at eBay. :(

eBay has become an extremely competitive marketplace and it is not uncommon to find products selling at prices the same as or lower than wholesaler. Lots of wholesalers sell on eBay directly to the public! Unfair yes, but its the reality.

What can you do about it?

* Order in bulk quantities to drive the wholesale price down
* Sell on another auction site other than eBay – there are heaps to choose from and profit margins are usually better.
* Buy liquidation – this lets you get product for pennies on the dollar. (I’ll let you in on a secret, this is how lots of powersellers make money on eBay these days)
* Find a niche market with few competitors – collectibles and one-off items have amazing profit margins, even on eBay.

Hope this helps. :)
